This iconic gallery show in St Kilda is back for the 34th time
I'm thrilled to be a finalist in this new contemporary art prize later this month.
An exhibition of beautiful landscapes and still lifes, showcasing nature's beauty in every weather condition.
I thought the exhibition would be the highlight, turns out being in the present to let my art develop on its own was the true gift.
My reveal! The Incognito Art Show is an amazing fundraising initiative and I couldn't wait to be part of this year's lineup. The Twist? The identity of each artist is kept anonymous when the artwork is exhibited.
Getting a call that I had won something was the greatest validation that I was making some good choices. I knew I was excited about where this new direction was going and this has boosted my confidence and desire to make more.
Place is very evocative. Memories and nostalgia of places we spent in happy times, with people we love, on adventures and just the ordinary day in our own backyard. A space to contemplate, to consider. To just watch the clouds passing and bees in the garden.

I've just returned from a week away in a very happy place. An art exhibition with a dear friend on the surf coast in summer. Happy happy happy. It wasn't half as harrowing as I thought so I put together some tips that helped it run smoothly.
I'm so drawn to city walls, city architecture, city colours and city life. To me, it's a landscape just as fulfilling as a countryside landscape. Always changing, prone to the weather, building up layers of history and stories and altered with time.
Are you craving travel? I am. Travel is my thing. And I know we'll get back in the air again soon and until then my art practice is providing all the inspiration and creative sparks I need for now.
