Postage
Orders will be packed and sent from Melbourne by Australia Post or courier and your order will be updated with a tracking number.

International customers: please be aware that your item may be held at customs for inspection and you may be charged a customs fee, import tax, or similar. I encourage you to check the customs laws and regulations in your country as these fees are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Lost items due to incorrect shipping information is the responsibility of the customer. 

Turnaround
Products are shipped within 1-3 business days. Products are often made to order, to this end there may be times when this may not be possible and you will be notified.  

Original artwork will be shipped within 1-2 weeks.

Returns
Faulty items may be returned for a refund/exchange within 7 days of receipt if it is un-used and in original condition with tags/packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.  Please contact me at michelle@crayonchick.com.au prior to returning any item.

All original artwork sales are final.

Packaging
I will go above and beyond to ensure that your painting is safely packaged and able to withstand rough handling. Once the painting leaves my studio, I am not responsible for damage inflicted in transit. If you have questions about this, please contact me at michelle@crayonchick.com.au

How A Commission Works


Step 1: Find Inspiration
Browse my Sold Work or instagram for your favourite pieces. What draws you in? Colour, size, or the feeling of the painting?

Step 2: Share Your Vision
Email me michelle@crayonchick.com.au with 2 or 3 images of my previous work you like as a starting point. Outline any particular details you would or would not like included. Not sure? No problem - we’ll explore ideas together. The guide will help here.

Step 3: Book & Create
Confirm your details and reserve your spot with a 50% deposit. You’ll receive progress updates, and tweaks can be made along the way.

Step 4: Delivered & Ready to Hang
Finished paintings are varnished, UV-protected and wired ready to hang immediately. Shipping will be added to the final invoice.

Timeline:
Most commissions take 4–6 weeks from the start date. The time frame is also dependent on size and if there are any other clients ahead of you.


Pricing:
Standard sizes start at $480. A popular range of sizes are available, with or without a frame. Custom sizes outside this range are welcome - click below to see the full guide.

Commission pieces take 4 to 5 weeks to complete from the start date. The time frame is also dependent on size and if there are any other clients ahead of you.

I draw inspiration from photos for colour and composition, but your piece will remain an original abstract landscape. I paint intuitively, and allow the magic of the unexpected to happen in my art. You will not get a painted version of the photo.

I have my most popular sizes listed but if you need a specific size not listed please get in touch and I can quote specific to that size.

HOT TIP :: don't know the size you want? Stick sheets of paper together to the sizes in the guide and hold that up on the wall to help visualise the size you like!

Absolutely! Colours, size, and mood can all be tailored to you. I can mash up bits from different paintings to give a good idea where we can go with your vision.

Both options are available. I pack and ship with Australia Post or courier. If you are in the Melbourne area, we can arrange pick up from my studio. Shipping costs will be added to the final invoice.
