The Process

  • I am offering commissions in the style of my existing work. I am an atmospheric landscape artist inspired by feeling, mood and light in the environment. A lovely folio is found under Sold Work. You can also see examples of my art on Instagram and on my website. 

  • Is there a painting in my collection you like, or are inspired by? No 2 pieces will look the same but I can always reproduce something that's very very similar. Finding inspiration in an existing artwork is the easiest way to move forward, and gives a good indication of what you can expect from my creative process.
  • I paint in an expressive and intuitive way with acrylics and mixed media, using many layers to achieve a dreamy light. My process is very spontaneous, unpredictable and the unexpected nature of working like this is where the magic happens. Artistic freedom is essential to my process.

  • What size are you looking for? Can I customise any details for you, do you have a preferred colour choice?

  • Once you have an idea what you'd like we can confirm the details and book you in.

  • You will get progress updates and any adjustments can be made to bring it to a beautiful finish that speaks to you.
  • Artwork is finished with a varnish and UV protected, presented framed in a hardwood timber float frame and ready to hang (unless otherwise requested).

FAQ'S

How long will it take?

Commission pieces take 4 to 5 weeks to complete from the start date. The time frame is also dependent on size and if there are any other clients ahead of you.

Do you work from photos?

I am an abstract landscape artist. I would use the photo for inspiration but would not produce a painted copy of the photo. 

Payment and additional charges
Once the price is decided a 50% deposit is required to hold your spot on the calendar. An invoice will be emailed to you and you can pay online with a direct debit or credit card. Final payment is due once the painting is complete.

Do you ship or can I pick up?

Both options are available. I pack and ship with Australia Post. If you are in the Melbourne area, we can arrange pick up from my studio. Shipping costs will be added to the invoice.

What are the sizes and prices?

Send an email with your query and I will give you a list of standard sizes and prices.
