An unexpected opportunity to show a collection of work came my way when Bluethumb's Richmond Gallery invited me to hang work in their beautiful gallery space.

I laughed because I only had a few days to pull the collection together and the few pieces I had were selling through their online gallery. How was I going to pull this off?!  I knew I had enough work to submit, but would the work be cohesive given they weren't created as a collection?

Spoiler alert: they did!

I have amazed myself with how well they all worked together. Extra large to teeny tiny gems, they all worked as a collection and I'm so delighted.

Artist friends, has it been a while since you looked at your work as a whole? If not, I highly recommend it. Gather all the pieces hanging around your home and studio and place them together and take a moment to take in what you create.
