My first art fair!  With my first gallery!

It was a thrill when Brisbane gallery, Aspire Gallery, offered to sign me up under representation with them. They are such a dynamic gallery and such fabulous energy, of course I signed.

They asked for 6 larger pieces which I finished, framed and shipped off. I can't wait to see how they go. I wish with all my heart I could see them, and wander around the show. I went along to the Melbourne Affordable Art Fair this winter and it's so inspiring just being a space full of work made by people just like me. Artists and creatives, drawn to the process of creating work that fills them with joy, calms their minds, problems solves and pursues beauty, tells stories, gives purpose and meaning.

6 - 9 November

The work I have on show is a collection of dreamlike landscapes shaped by vast skies and moody atmospheres. Each work traces the ways light bends, softens and changes the mood of a place in the blink of an eye. These are not depictions of one place but memories of moments of wonder, shaped by the quiet act of looking upward and outward. These paintings invite you to pause, to look outward, and to find wonder in the beauty of ever-changing light.
