A dramatic sky after the sun sets inspired by my love of fleeting light and big skies. A dreamscape rooted in the romance of travel and the last light of day gently illuminating the valley below. Inspired by an evening in Provence, many years ago now, that lives in my memory that I dream to return to one day.
I’ve used fluid paint and a blending technique to build delicate soft layers, as soft as a breeze, to evoke the essence and calm of a sunset glow.
